I did a guest comic for Bearmageddon that you might wanna check out. If you’re not familiar with it – I highly recommend giving it a read! It’s just as violent as Stupid Snake, if not more – and it has crazy bears! You can’t go wrong with crazy bears.

Ah. This page. It really explains this scene quite well. When you can’t kill the snake you want, you compromise by catching and eating smaller ones and pretending you’re not completely inadequate… Quite sad, really.
One of the Bearmageddon crowd right here, and I have to say, I freakin’ love this! Started it this morning, am now finished, and truly chomping the bit to see if elf lady will ever see the light about what the snake truly did, and for that matter how the flipping flip she got those injuries!! It’s vexing me so!!!
Oh, and your Bearmageddon page was fun, too. Fish-for-hands-Bear was the best gruesome punchline I’ve seen in awhile.
Now, to begin browbeating my friends into reading this…

Great pages these, I love the snake replacement.
Not sure I get the beginning though, are they laughing at her because she can’t harm Stupid Snake? Does Stupid Snake just lurk around the troll village? Is he the village’s mascot? What’s going on?
They’re laughing at her for even trying. Obviously it’s impossible to hurt him with a stick. Also – trolls can be jerks.
Trolls don’t do agriculture; they only hunt. Because of that they know that the snake is off limits (probably lost a few trolls over the years trying to catch him). But she’s stubborn (as kids usually are), so she keeps trying anyway, until she realizes it’s been years and gives up, too ashamed to go back to the village.
I still love the fact that you showed us what a Troll is by introducing Troll #1 sleeping under a bridge. That made me smile and say “Who’s that tramping over my bridge?”…repeatedly.
Ha, yeah. Back then I had no idea what I was doing, but I got a few things right!

I also wandered in on this comic through Bearmageddon.. I gotten all the way to end loving every minnute of it and wondering how many twists and turns there could be in the story… It’s great.. It’s better then great.. It’s Perfect! Please don’t don’t even think about stopping! I love it all!
